Chapel Campaign

The Camp Bonner Chapel was built in the 70’s and dedicated to the E.A. Clement family in appreciation for their contribution.  Since then scouts and visitors to our camp have had a special place to be REVERENT.  Even though our camp name was changed in 2010 to honor the Boddie family and all they have done for our camp and council, the chapel remained a special place at Camp Boddie.  In 2011, a not so welcome visitor to our camp, Hurricane Irene, brought destruction to our camp and the Chapel fell victim to falling trees. We now desire to build another place of Reverence at our camp.

Donor Brick Project

Yes, you and your organization can help raise a new Chapel from what Hurricane Irene destroyed.  We will have a brick path leading to the Chapel and also paths in the adjacent meditation gardens.  What better way for you to memorialize past members or honor the program?

September Croatalk Released

The September Croatalk is now available here.

Looking Forward

Summer camp is over but the scouting spirit is strong.  Hopefully everyone had a great summer and made lasting memories, but the fall is upon us and that means getting back to service.  There are many activities coming up on everyone's calendars including school, sports, band and others events.  We hope that you will keep in mind that the Fall Ordeal and Fall Fellowship are still to come in the months ahead.  As always there is work to be done at camp and around the council.  Please remember that the service given is enjoyed by all who attend the events at our council camps not just during the summer but in programs run throughout the year.  We hope that everyone will join us in finishing the year strong and go into the winter months and new year with many projects completed and fellowship enjoyed by all.  Until our next event, stay safe and have a great rest of summer.
